This is an alpha season, used primarily for testing purposes. If you are a participant, please share feedback using the #feedback channel on the TFCL Discord server. All matches this season will be hosted by the league itself.
A test run for TFCL's match servers, automatic reporting, playoff flow, and the website itself. Here's what's on the line and how it's running.
For Alpha 2, our match servers are powered by serveme.tfso we can accelerate testing and gather real match data quickly. In future seasons, TFCL will operate its own fully controlled server networkacross multiple regions, but using serveme.tf now allows us to validate our systems without waiting for full infrastructure deployment.
A major focus of Alpha 2 is ensuring that automatic match reporting works reliably, including score submission, log parsing, and error handling under real match conditions.
We are testing the new playoff flow, including bracket creation, match progression, seeding behavior, and how the system handles reporting and advancing teams through each round. This helps ensure the full season playoff experience is smooth and stable.
Alpha 2 helps us stress test the TFCL website under real traffic, including match pages, team pages, standings, and the Alpha Hub. The goal is to validateperformance, stability, and user flow across the entire platform.
Week 1 schedules post on July 5th. Rosters are seeded, divisions are finalized, and the first matches are queued for the following Wednesday.

All teams will compete in the Open division. Any team created in another division will be automatically moved to Open for this season.
This season is primarily a technical test. Our main focus is validating TFCL managed match servers and ensuring thatautomatic match reporting works reliably under real player activity. Gameplay matters, but the priority is stress testing the systems that will power the full league launch.
Team signups open on May 21st. Form a roster, pick a captain, and submit your team through the Alpha Hub.
The full Week 1 schedule publishes on July 5th. Match times, server regions, and opponent assignments confirmed.
On July 29th, rosters freeze - no player additions after this date for the rest of the season. Substitutions per match still allowed.
Round 1 of the playoffs begins August 16th. Bracket creation, seeding, and progression all flow through the system we're testing this season.
Alpha 2 exists to surface bugs, friction, and rough edges before a full TFCL launch. If something feels off, broken, or confusing during a match - say so.That's the entire point of the season.
